The bottom line is: it's a problem of MIDI channel assignement in Logic! On restart of Logic, you may have to reassign all MIDI channels correctly again. Therefore try to assign Logic DAW control to MIDI ports 2-5 (within Logic and on the desk). (Don't forget to run file/system Setup in the Studio manager to assign it's I/O ports). In my system (DM1000 on Windows Vista) Studio Manager only works properly (allows resynchronization) when assigned to USB 1 on the desk ! Hence USB 1 is already used by Logic and Studio Manager cannot see the desk! (In addition, you have to assign General DAW from the remote layer of the 02R96V2 of course).
